Facilities
On the site, we provide:
Communal eating and socialising area with big fire pit. Fire wood for the open fire you can buy on the site at reasonable prices, locally (Benllech Garage) or if you prefer you can bring your own wood.
- Bench tables by each Tipi/Yurt
- There are several hammocks and picnic bench table in the woodland by the site
- Apart from compost toilets and standpipe in the Tipi Field we also provide washing facilities including toilet, shower and sink 200 m away from the field in the caravan near the car park.
The Yurt and Tipi Site is a car-free zone and we provide a wheelbarrow to help you transport your things from the car park.
New Washing Facilities in 2011
We’re going to say goodbye to our caravan which has been serving our guests as a wash block for the past 3 seasons. We’re planning on 2 showers, 2 flush loos and 2 sinks for washing up and also seating space, all in a much more appealing wooden structure.
Home grown produce
We have a flock of chickens and are growing a modest selection of vegetables which are available according to the season, so if you would like to enjoy free range eggs for your breakfast, cook your meal with home produced vegetables or take a vaggie box home, we'll let you know what’s available on arrival. The Yurt and Tipi Field is a car-free zone. The car park is about 200 m from the field. We provide a wheelbarrow to help you transport your things.
